The Dwarka Dham Yatra is one of the most spiritually enriching pilgrimages in India, leading devotees to the holy city of Dwarka in the state of Gujarat. Dwarka is one of the Char Dham (Four Holy Abodes) and one of the Sapta Puri (Seven Sacred Cities) revered in Hinduism. It is believed to be the ancient kingdom of Lord Krishna, who resided here after leaving Mathura.
Dwarka holds immense religious importance as the “Gateway to Moksha” (liberation). According to Hindu mythology, Lord Krishna established his kingdom here over 5,000 years ago. The city is considered one of the four sacred dhams that every devout Hindu aims to visit in their lifetime — the others being Badrinath, Puri, and Rameswaram.
